The section Transcripts consists of transcriptions and translations of all authentic and scripted materials appearing in the lessons of the textbook. The transcripts also contain answers to questions in the quiz at the end of each unit. Language of less than a complete sentence is not included, except in the case of audio recordings and certain types of printed materials. Sample sentences, questions, or quiz responses that students are asked to write also are not included in the transcripts.The Structural Notes are intended only as a gathering of the Structural Notes included in each Lesson (set 2) of each Unit of the textbook for those students who like to review the grammar of a language in one place.
The Glossary is a compilation of the words and phrases introduced for active or passive learning in Units 1-8 of the textbook. In addition, most of the words that appear in the printed texts of Units 1-8 also are included.
