The reader is divided into three sections. The first section contains 50 selections of news articles from different Sindhi-language newspapers and journals printed in India. Selections are taken from Hindustan, Hindwasi, Sindhi Times, Koonj, Sindhi Vani, and Sipron. Each selection is followed by a list of vocabulary in the order of their occurrence in the selection and their meanings in the particular context of the selection. Brief grammatical and cultural notes follow the vocabulary lists.
The second section gives English translations of all 50 selections.
The third section is an alphabetic glossary of the vocabulary from the selections.
