This reader is designed to provide students of Tausug language at intermediate level. Selections are rated between levels 2 and 3+ by Interagency Language Roundtable or the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages.
The reader is divided to three parts. The first part contains 66 selections that are created by three authors in wide range of topics including culture and society, politics, economics, local history, science and technology, defense, geography, and the environment. Each selection is followed by a vocabulary list that are entered in the order of their appearance in the selection.
The second part consists of English translations of each selection.
The third and final part is a accumulative Tausug-English glossary in Tausug alphabetical order, representing a compilation of all individual vocabularies.
